Extrait d'une interview d'Ueda dans Edge. On n'y apprend rien de révolutionnaire à part qu'il était en CDD renouvelé annuellement chez Sony (donc que son départ en freelance ne change pas grand chose) et qu'il est désolé que le jeu ne soit toujours pas disponible :

How do you keep your team motivated over a production cycle of five years or more?
Maintaining motivation is all about producing something great. A hobby or alcohol might help to refresh you temporarily, but they won't motivate creativity. Also, the original staff members on Ico and SOTC are just as fussy over details as I am. I always want to create quickly, and I always want to increase the rate of production. In the case of The Last Guardian, my creative work was mostly finished a long time ago, but the details of when, where and how it will be completed are beyond my control.

The Last Guardian's Creator Fumito Ueda Will Give News as Soon as Possible

The Last Guardian's Creator Fumito Ueda, who suddenly left Sony in 2011 but is reportedly still working on the game as a freelance, has been quite tight lipped both about the game and about his future projects, but apparently he's just waiting for the right time to give us an update, and that right time could be soon.

During an interview on 4Gamer he was asked to give a message to the readers and his aspirations for 2014, and his response was brief but quite the tease:

    As soon as possible, I think I'll be able to give some kind of update.

And it would be about time, especially considering that all we received in the last few years about The Last Guardian and Ueda-san's current labors are teasing words and half promises. Come on Ueda-san, you know you want to tell us.

Speaking with Eurogamer, Yoshida commented on IGN's since-retracted report that The Last Guardian had been cancelled outright, saying, "There were a difficult couple of days before the show – I'm sure you noticed. I'm so happy it was retracted before the show happened."

"It's the same message!" he added, stressing that The Last Guardian remains in full development at Sony.

Yet, it didn't appear on Sony's stage. Yoshida explained the move, "Lots of people tweeted me they were heartbroken by that news [prior to the show]. People are going through this roller coaster of emotions, and it's our fault for not releasing the game, yet.

"We owe a lot to those people, but we really don't want to release piecemeal information until we can say this is The Last Guardian – so we ask you to wait."

L'année prochaine, je le souhaite mais j'en suis presque persuadé, il sera présent. Même si ça doit être un jeu de 3 heures de durée de vie, uniquement démat', l'aura qu'a pris ce titre est démentielle et essentiel pour Sony. Et puis pour chaque joueur, rien que voir le pelage HD de la bête peut suffire à faire son petit effet.

Incroyable, le développement serait passé sur Playstation 4 :

Since Sony has continuously said it's not giving up on the project, we've been eagerly anticipating an announce of its migration to PS4. Now creator Fumito Ueda has made some comments which are pretty suggestive of us (and everyone else) being right.

"Talks with Sony Computer Entertainment on The Last Guardian have been ironed out, and we're making progress under completely new conditions," Ueda told Dengeki in an interview translated by Kotaku.

New conditions, huh? Like a platform change, maybe? SCE Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has already hinted at it.

Sinon je commence mes théories sur le jeu ! J'espère que l'on va évoluer avec la bête, de sa naissance à l'âge adulte ! .
Je rêve d'autres bestiaires (sa famille ? Un autre griffon ? Un nid carrément) ! Je n'imagine pas un monde à la Ico, j'aimerai qu'il soit plus peuplé ! J'attends d'être surpris ! J'ai trop d'attentes dans le jeu !

Je vais essaye de faire l'impasse sur les infos de LG car je me rends compte que pour SotC, je ne savais rien. J'en ai vu très peu ! Ça va être dure de lutter...
